Both our nurseries carry loads of seed packets so you can plant vegetables, herbs, flowers, and vines from scratch. Each pack carries an expiration date and while the seeds are still good to use, they can’t be sold. That sometimes leaves us with thousands of seed packs. When this happens, we box them up, as Ken Andersen is doing in the photo, and ship them to America the Beautiful Fund.  Started in 1965 as a national non-profit organization, America the Beautiful Fund® has developed more than 50,000 citizen initiated volunteer projects. These programs were supported through America the Beautiful Fund®’s Operation Green Plant, Rediscover America, and American Landscapes programs.
